Community description
The BAE Club is a restricted group of leading business angel networks and groups across Europe. These groups share an important level of activity and track record over several years, as well as a willingness to collaborate across borders. The ambition of the Club is to support cross-border collaboration through support to the internationalisation of investee companies, co-investment, and knowledge-sharing among peers at the level of the angels and the angel group managers.
Support services
The BAE Club was launched in Barcelona in March 2014. It now gathers 15 groups from 11 countries.
Members of the BAE Club will:
- Share good practice among peers - including through monthly calls and bi-annual events
- Encourage their angel members to meet several times a year to create a pan-European angel community;
- Encourage their investee companies to pitch to European investors when fund-raising or conquering new markets;
- Contribute to Business Angels Europe's advocacy work to create a favorable environment for angel and early stage investing in Europe.
BAE Club enables a membership exchange so that members from each group are entitled to attend investment events organised by any BAE Club member in Europe.
